This is our cute little Emmaline on Easter morning, right before Church...

...and this was after church, right after she spilled a big cup of chocolate milk all down her new dress. :)

I found myself kind of frustrated that she had gotten her dress all dirty, but I knew I didn't want to be frustrated with her on Easter, so we tried to make it into something funny, and I thought it would make a good blog story, so I took pictures of her right after we'd thrown her dress in the washing machine (whoohoo, it didn't have to be dry cleaned :) ), and she thought it was pretty funny too, so our blogging saved the day!
Today also helped me to decide how I was going to do her hair for Will's wedding...because her hair won't hold a curl to save her life. So I did the little pig tails with the ribbon, and big bow in front, and Royce brought Emmaline from nursery, and he had spun the bow around so it was in the back, and it was so cute! That boy's got some pretty good taste, I tell you what.

"Puppy"

So this is our new puppy, Dally. She's huge, but she really is a puppy. She's only 4months old. We got her yesterday, so Emmaline and I have been taking care of her, and she's a really sweet dog. Emmaline just loves her. We (Royce, Emmaline and I...not Dally :) ) went to Ashland tonight because Royce had class, and on the way home, Emmaline kept talking about Dally, and how she wanted to play with her, and how Dally is her puppy. It's pretty cute...they're a good match.

While taking these pictures, I realized that it's hard to get a dog and a two year old to look at the camera at the same time :)

More OCD

I thought I'd put in a couple more random pictures from Texas. Is this normal, or have I passed on some OCD traits? She does this kind of stuff with everything...everything has to be evenly spaced, and all aligned correctly. Sometimes she sits by her toy chest with an "army" of dinosaurs, all facing outward in a half circle surrounding her. Maybe it's just her way of trying to create order in a disorderly/cluttered house. (Apparently it's frustrating to children when things are out of place) When I was little and we were driving in the car, I could only chew my gum once inbetween each telephone pole. Hmmm...maybe crazy just runs in the family :)
