Daddy's Carnival!

Royce's last day of work (with students) was on Friday, and the kids got into groups and made a carnival, and it was so fun! Emmaline loved it, and she got lots of loot because she was the youngest one there.

She was a little concerned, however, when Daddy got in the dunk tank...

Taunting the crowd...

He must have been dunked at least 25 times...all of the teachers went into the dunk tank, and Royce was scheduled second to last, and there were tons of kids who would come up to us during the day and say they were saving their tickets for Mr. Kimmons. (A lot of them were from the Gamer's Club, and they were getting their revenge because he beats them all the time on video games :) ) By the end they were even getting the coolers full of ice for the drinks and pouring the ice in the "dunk tank." Needless to say, he was freezing by the end, but the kids absolutely loved it. They had a really great day at the end of a really great year!

The cat's been sitting in some really weird places lately...

Speaking of sitting in weird places!

Caught!

We've started packing boxes/organizing for the move to Texas, and apparently Emmaline found one of her old binkies.

Cake Cake Cake!

My little baking helper! Well, at least my little tasting helper :)

Lot of baking this week! I made 200 cookies, a ladybug cake, and jumbo cupcakes for a bake/garage sale for Young Womens. (And another ladybug cake for Emmaline...I didn't have the heart to make a ladybug cake and just give it away...she loves her ladybug cakes :) ) Then my mom's been playing around with the idea of making Will and Marissa's wedding cake, so we made a tester cake this weekend. My mom made the cake, and I did the fondant and the decorations. So it's been a little crazy this week, but I've learned my lesson about commiting myself to more than I can do :) And it has been fun to be able to play around with it though!

Playing with Daddy

I think both of them were tired of getting their pictures taken!

Feeding the ducks with Grandpa

We lucked out getting to see baby geese!

We went to feed the ducks at Veterans Park, which is right across the river from Grandpa's office, so he came over to feed the ducks with us. (Mommy is afraid of the ducks/seagulls/birds in general, so I made Grandpa help her. It's like someone being afraid of spiders, and taking your child to a big nest of spiders so they can feed them and make them come closer to you. :) )
