Name that baby...

Okay, you really don't have to, but how similar do these girls look! It's crazy. I think one of them is a little older than the other, but I'm not positive.

Random Pics

This Sunday was Emmaline's Primary presentation so we got all dressed up. And it's close enough to Christmas to bust out the Christmas dresses!
We also got Emmaline some new clothes which she really needed. This is her favorite new shirt and she wanted me to take a picture of it. (Also notice my messy living room. The sad thing is that this is nothing compared to what it is sometimes.)
Should I be proud or embarrassed that my 6yr old walks around quoting the Simpsons? We really are selective of the ones we let her watch, I promise. Today's quote: "Ahh! A bear is eating my father." (Brownie points if you know what she's talking about.

Poor Royce; I didn't mean for this picture to be at the bottom of my post. He just got back from a conference in Florida last night, and he and his professor wrote a paper together that they presented, and they won the best conference proposal for the whole conference! It was really exciting. Frink out.

New Cake

This is a cake that I made for the Young Women in Excellence program. (Or maybe New Beginnings? I'm not sure.) Anyway, it's for a program for the girls in our Church 12-18. It was my first time trying to make these flowers, and at first I wasn't so sure about them, but I think they kind of fit the style of the cake. The color doesn't look that great in the picture, but I used antique white fondant, and then just plain white for the flowers and side decorations and I really liked the contrast. Anyway, that's all!

Halloween

It has been so long since I've put anything up on blogger, and after these pictures I'm still not even close to caught up(trip to Oregon, Emmaline's birthday, etc), but I guess I'll just do a little bit at a time. These are mainly Halloween and the ward trunk-or-treat last Wednesday.

This is Royce at a conference in Park City while we were at the trunk-or-treat. We missed him, but his conference went really well.
This is Emmaline's play-dough Earth that she made for school time. (We were working on identifying the continents. South America is not quite to scale.:))
So cute.

"Look, Daddy's graduating!" (But not really.:))

Quality Time

This looks so bad, but I swear I don't let the baby watch TV. She just happened to get herself rolled around so she was facing it. After I took the picture I moved her again. :)

Just another day in paradise

Marta is really good at rolling from her back to front, but lately has been getting stuck on her tummy, but has been using the time wisely. (She used to be better rolling from front to back, but apparently it depends on the week.:)

Emmaline and I have been learning how to make cheese, ice cream, and butter, etc on-line, so we tried to make our own butter, but I'm starting to think that you have to have cream, not just whole milk. But she's shaking the crud out of that jar anyway. :)

Pics of the Family

What do you do when you're poor college students and you don't have a picture of your whole family together? That's right, you sit in front of the web-cam and take pictures that way. :)
