Caramel Popcorn and Asparagus on cooking blog

Christmas Pics Continued

Here's another from the children's museum. They had a little "hospital" set up, and Emmaline loved it in there, because of the babies. It took a lot of convincing to get her to put the baby back so she could go play in the rest of the museum. She loves babies. :)
This was back at the timeshare rental. Grandma and Grandpa got Lea and Mike a new pack for when their baby comes. This is Aunty Lea around 5mo pregnant.
Apparently we were all pretty tired. The only ones awake were Lea and Emmaline. (It's not Emmaline on the floor beside me; it's a doll she got for Christmas, but when I fell asleep she put her blanket on me, and put her dolly beside me, and a blanket on the dolly. She's such a sweetheart :) Every time Royce falls asleep, she always gets him a toy to sleep with, and wraps him up in a blanket :) )

More Pictures from Christmas

Mike and Lea sent me some more pictures from Christmas. Luckily someone is responsible enough to take pictures :) These are from Christmas Eve...we all thought it was pretty funny that we were swimming on Christmas Eve. It was great :)

We also went to the children's museum, and that was a lot of fun. Emmaline loved it; there was so much to do. And there were six of us adults following her around, showing her new stuff to try.

Well, maybe five adults and two kids. Just kidding :) Aunty Lea was the only one skinny enough to sit on the "horse" without breaking it. :)

Happy Valentines Day! (Thanks for the clothes, Grandma :) )

Grandma sent Emmaline a little Valentines Day package, and there were two super cute dresses, so we thought we'd put up our little fashion show. (I only got pictures of the one dress, but I'll take a picture of the other when she wears it. We're going to dinner tomorrow, and she'll wear one then, and the other on Sunday.)
I was trying to get a video of her reading the "If you give a moose a muffin" book, but I couldn't get her to do it. She read it to Daddy's sock puppets last night, but she wouldn't do it for the camera.
They also sent her a little heart with chocolates, and I had forgotten that my grandma would give us little boxes of Whitman chocolates on Valentines Day. (The little tin ones...remember Lea?) It was kind of nostalgic; keeping the tradition going. I even teared up a little. :)
Oh, and we opened the package a day early, because I wasn't even thinking about it being a valentine's day present. Sorry.

She also got valentines from Nana and Papa, which included stickers; the valentines were Tinkerbell, and Kung Fu Panda, two of her favorites. And each of the kids at home, sent her a seperate valentine, and she just kept pulling them out one by one, getting more excited as they came. :)
And Royce and I got her a little surprise too, so she made out pretty well for Valentines Day this year :) (Okay, she might be a little spoiled :) )
