Really Mommy? Tummy time again?

Friends and 4mo Stats!

This is Emmaline's little friend *cough-future husband-cough* Jarom. Normally she has a couple of other friends over at the same time, but last Friday everyone was out of town, so it was just Jarom and Emmaline so I had to steal a pic. He and his wonderful family are moving tomorrow, and we're so sad, but happy that they get to move forward.

In this pic are more of the cute little friends that Emmaline has, who are moving at the end of the summer! We're so sad to be missing all of these sweet little boys, but are glad that we've gotten to have so much fun with everyone.
I have a deal with Emmaline that for every serious picture that I get, she gets to have a silly one.

And here's our cute little Marta girl. I keep getting in trouble because I don't have more pictures of Marta, but the batteries in my camera are dying, and I have just enough time to get one picture before the battery dies, so this is it for now. :) She was sitting up so cute and smiling at me, and I'm just awful at getting good pictures. But she had her 4mo check-up today, and she's doing great. She was 90% for weight, 90% for head circumference, off the chart for height, but is the same height as an average(50%) 8mo old. Yikes! She's doing great though, and her heart murmur might be gone, she rolled over for the first time this weekend, and has started solid food and loves it!

I cut 14 1/2" off for Locks-o-Love.
Royce found a really good deal online and got me a Cricut Cake for my birthday!!! It was awesome. This was the first cake I decorated with it.
Lol...I have no words.
Emmaline wanted to take a pic of Daddy while we were Skyping. Royce had a networking conference in Virginia that turned out to be a really good thing.

Stuff!

Wow, it's been a busy few weeks. Royce's birthday, Easter at Nana and Papa's, egg hunt with friends around the apt complex, Grandpa visiting, Marta's blessing, Mother's day, and even a video of smiles from Marta's new toy. Here's the pics; I'm sure you can figure out what pic goes with each event. (I find that I type much less when I only have one hand.)

These are my beautiful Mother's day flowers. They accompanied danishes for breakfast, a gallon of BlueBell chocolate brownie fudge ice cream, and a clean kitchen and living room! It was awesome.

This is what Emmaline does to my hair at night when I'm not paying attention. Maybe that's why I just cut 14 1/2" off!

I really did get another picture of Grandpa, but it's on the other computer right now.

Emmaline has some serious issues with taking pictures in the sun.






I gave Emmaline the cake below and she spent a ton of time piping it. The top row of her piping is a bunch of tiny dots.

Just a Few Updates

Our first trip to Church!
She's started making eye contact and smiling at us now, which is so much fun. Royce can get the best smiles out of her, and she smiles a little bit at Mommy, but Emmaline is really frustrated that she can't get her to smile yet. :) I could not get a good picture of her smiling...Mommy's just too slow with the trigger button, but these are kind of close.


I was making Emmaline clean her room this time while Marta had tummy time, so Emmaline decided that she needed a toy to look at instead of her. (Normally she's always down on the floor with her during tummy time, along with Mommy or Daddy or sometimes both.)
